Why OLEDs Rule

Published by chrisd at 2:05 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

It should be clear to anyone who is conscious that OLEDs simply rule. This is because of the mark such a high point in the evolution of display technology. In fact, it’s hard to imagine where display technology will go from here. With OLEDs there came the thinnest possible material for displaying images like TV or computer. The actual depth of an OLED is three nano-wafers which amount to about one-twentieth the size of a human hair. I think that’s thin enough to silence anyone’s complaints. Not to mention, OLEDs, by virtue of their organic substrates, are flexible! Now you can roll up you TV to store away when you are not watching.
The only way in which OLEDs will delelop from this point on is in terms of is durability, brightness an energy efficiency. In fact, although OLEDs are very great as they are, they lack significantly in the areas just mentioned. Water is even a danger for the organic substrate which is a major constituent of OLEDs.
