How the Ironing Robot Works
So how does the Ironing robot work? Surely it must be of interest. The robot contains a heater box with different resistance elements so that its skin made of balloon silk, inflates with hot air and adjusts to the shape of the shirt. It then presses and steams the shirt, using more hot air flow for thicker parts of the shirt, such as the cuffs and pocket. The Dressman blows cool air onto the shirt afterwards so that the crispness is prolonged. Shirts are never singed by the Dressman which is a big advantage because it is so easy to become distracted while ironing and inadvertently burn clothes.
The cool air cycle can be used on its own to ventilate shirts and jackets.
